Powered, reversible, enclosed-track, uni-planar overhead conveyor to transfer garments and cartons on monorail trolleys between operating levels, with pusher dogs engaging the monorail trolleys over a goose-neck shaped rail configuration, and a parallel safety guide rail to eliminate derailing.
Each conveyor is independently powered by a hollow shaft SEW geared motor, which requires minimal maintenance, and utilizes standard components for long term serviceability.
The high quality conveyor chain runs over a central guide plate, which is also the guide for the return leg of the chain. This conveyor is reversible.
The use of reversible conveyors increases the flexibility of the system design, and results in a built-in redundancy which allows any conveyor to be shut down for servicing, while the facility is in operation.
